Before anything else, let us congratulate our readers in the western region for finally getting their version of the “Accra Mall”. This calls for celebration. Lets gather some of “Taadi’s” finest like Nero X, Tee-phlow, Kinaata, Mojae and make merry.
At least for now, we can stop watching the hilarious videos that emerged from the commissioning of the ”Kumasi Accra Mall” and focus on the western region until the next region ‘brings itself’.
In a video circulating on social media, if not all of Takoradi is entering the mall then, I guess each family picked a representative to make it to the grand opening of the 11,000 square metres facility which was built at a cost of $40 million.
The facility which currently employs 1,000 people in various units is the first in the western region. Speaking at its official opening of the newly-constructed entertainment and shopping centre, wife of Vice-President, Samira Bawumia said the government is creating a conducive and enabling environment for the private sector to thrive.
The mall will increase commercial and economic activity in the Western Region, as well as provide more jobs.
